  6. 5 de mar. de 2017 · In 1760 Mary’s father-in-law died and her husband became the Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel. The inheritance did nothing to change the dynamics of the marriage and the couple remained apart, though Mary took the title of “Landgravine” for the next 12 years. She died at her home in Hanau on February 1, 1772 and was buried in Germany.
