  1. METHOD ACTING. At the core of the Strasberg curriculum are the Method Acting classes. Students are required to take two Method Acting classes per 10- or 12-week term, each with a different teacher. These classes are designed to train the actor in Lee Strasberg’s systematic approach to acting, known throughout the world as The Method.

  4. Patrick Bonavitacola received his training as an actor at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute from Lee Strasberg. Lee invited him to become part of The Actors Studio community in 1979, and he has been associated with The Studio for more than 35 years now—first as an actor, and for the last 15 years as a member of the Playwright/Directors Unit.

In addition to Saturday and After-School classes during the traditional school year, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers summer day camps and intensives for students in grades 2-12. Our Young Actors summer programs are designed to encompass students at all levels and provide foundational training in Lee Strasberg’s world renowned Method Acting technique.
