St Bede's Grammar School. / 53.81523; -1.78741. St. Bede's Grammar School, in Heaton, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, was a Roman Catholic boys' Secondary school. The school merged with St. Joseph's Catholic College in September 2014 to form St Bede's and St Joseph's Catholic College. The school is based over both of the former school sites.
The school was built by the Heckmondwike School Board after it was compelled by the Board of Education to replace various schools across Heckmondwike. The Board began the process in January 1894, and despite much controversy, the building of the school had finished by late 1897. Arthur Alfred Stott of Mirfield was the architect.
Grammar school. The school was formerly the St Thomas Aquinas Grammar School on Tongue Lane. It was built in 1961 as a three-form entry boys' school by the City of Leeds Education Committee.
