Leikanger (Urban East Norwegian: [ˈlæ̂ɪkɑŋər] ⓘ) is a former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It was located on the northern shore of the Sognefjorden in the traditional district of Sogn .

Leikanger town snuggles tightly on the Sognefjord shores. The town has around 2200 inhabitans and it´s closest neighbours are Balestrand (West) and Sogndal (East). This town and municipality is the 4th largest producer of food in Norway.
