Leo von Klenze (Schladen, Baja Sajonia, 29 de febrero de 1784 - Múnich, 27 de enero de 1864) fue un arquitecto, pintor y escritor alemán del neoclasicismo. [1] Destacó como arquitecto de la corte de Baviera bajo el reinado de Luis I.

Leo von Klenze. (Bockenem, 1784 - Munich, 1864) Arquitecto alemán. Trabajó con Friedrich Gilly en Berlín y con Charles Percier, Jean Durand y Pierre Fontaine en París. Fue el director de construcciones de Luis de Baviera.
Leo von Klenze (born Franz Karl Leopold von Klenze; 29 February 1784 – 26 January 1864) was a German architect and painter. He was the court architect of Ludwig I of Bavaria. Von Klenze was a devotee of Neoclassicism and one of the most prominent representatives of Greek revival style.

Como reconocido arquitecto del clasicismo, Leo von Klenze recibió encargos en Atenas a partir de 1839, incluyendo la reordenación del plano urbano.
