Leon Fleisher (July 23, 1928 – August 2, 2020) [1] was an American pianist and conductor. He was one of the most renowned pianists and pedagogues in the world. He was born in San Francisco, California . He taught at Peabody Conservatory of Music, the Curtis Institute of Music, and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
