They were timed to precede the G8 conference and summit held at the Gleneagles Hotel in Auchterarder, Scotland, from 6–8 July 2005.
What was Live 8? On July 2nd 2005 music venues across the globe were awash with people witnessing the follow up concert to ‘Live Aid’, it was called called ‘Live 8’. 10 concerts were played simultaneously across the world including Berlin, London, Rome and Moscow.
