  5. Brasseur and Eisler were inducted to Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 1996, the Skate Canada Hall of Fame in 2000, and the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 2001. Eisler had competed in his first Olympic Games at Sarajevo 1984 with his previous partner Katherina Matousek.
