London SS is a British rock group founded in March 1975 by drummer Geir Wade, bassist John Brown, guitarist Mick Jones, and guitarist Eunan Brady (formerly of the Hollywood Brats). They later became associated with the then new punk rock scene when the Sex Pistols broke in early 1976.

El naufragio del SS London al norte de la costa gallega, fue un accidente que tuvo mucha repercusión en Inglaterra, por su gran número de fallecidos en este hundimiento. Todo comenzaba un 13 de diciembre de 1865, salía del puerto de Gravesend (Inglaterra)con destino a Melbourne (Australia).
The London SS were the band that never was but were as important as the Sex Pistols in the birth of what would come to be known as punk rock. They never had a stable line up, never played a gig and never released a record and were in essence Mick Jones and Tony James (see left).
