Louis Hubert Gonzalve Lyautey (Nancy, 17 de noviembre de 1854 - Thorey, 27 de julio de 1934) fue un militar francés oficial durante las guerras coloniales, y en la colonización francesa de África. Louis Hubert Gonzalve Lyautey (Nancy, 1854 - Thorey, 1934) Militar francés. Hijo de un ingeniero de caminos y perteneciente a una familia con larga tradición militar, estudió en la Academia militar de Saint-Cyr en 1873. Siguió los cursos de la Escuela de Estado Mayor e ingresó en la caballería, donde en 1878 fue nombrado teniente.
Louis Hubert Gonzalve Lyautey (17 November 1854 – 27 July 1934) was a French Army general and colonial administrator. After serving in Indochina and Madagascar, he became the first French Resident-General in Morocco from 1912 to 1925. Early in 1917 he served briefly as Minister of War.
