La secuela de la exitosa "Major League" es más de lo mismo, con un argumento prácticamente idéntico -los Indians de Cleveland a intentar ganar esta vez las series mundiales-, y casi todo el reparto original -Omar Epps reemplaza a Wesley Snipes-. Tuvo bastante peor crítica y bastante menos éxito en taquilla que su predecesora.
