16 de jul. de 2015 · David Gilmour, has announced that his new solo album ‘ Rattle That Lock’ will be released worldwide on 18 September by Sony Music. The first single, also called Rattle That Lock, will have its world premiere tomorrow on BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans show.
29 de ene. de 2021 · On An Island – David Gilmour (2006) Manzanera was called in by his old friend Gilmour to help make sense of endless hours of half-finished music. A decade later, he’s still the key production crew-member on the Floyd man’s houseboat.
Manzanera co-produced David Gilmour's album On an Island. Manzanera also played rhythm guitar on Gilmour's world tour to support the album in 2006 and appears in Gilmour's concert films Remember That Night and Live in Gdańsk. Manzanera appears briefly playing a guitar solo in Red Dwarf series 6 episode "Psirens".
28 de abr. de 2024 · In 2015 Manzanera was fresh from working as a producer on Pink Floyd’s The Endless River, and his soloing has a David Gilmour-like fluidity and bluesy poetry. The warm, airy texture of the music gently evokes the mellow Latin American nights, and the song is a beautiful and moving tribute to the surroundings of his childhood.
