2 de may. de 2024 · Marc Girardelli (born July 18, 1963, Lustenau, Austria) is an Austrian-born Luxembourgian skier who won five overall World Cup titles in the 1980s and ’90s. Coached by his father, Helmut, Girardelli made his debut on the World Cup circuit at age 15.
Marc Girardelli won the Hahnenkamm downhill in Kitzbühel and the Lauberhorn downhill events. The sum total of his succeses is impressive: he won 46 international World Cup championships in skiing, won two gold medals and one bronze at the World Championships and two medals at the Winter Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992.
