Marcel Duchamp was born at Blainville-Crevon in Normandy, France, and grew up in a family that enjoyed cultural activities. Marcel Duchamp nasceu em 28 de julho de 1887, na Blainville-Crevon, na França. Vindo de uma família com posses, o ambiente familiar era estimulante do ponto de vista artístico.
