The Godfather is a 1972 American crime film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mario Puzo, based on Puzo's best-selling 1969 novel of the same title. The film stars Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Richard Castellano, Robert Duvall, Sterling Hayden, John Marley, Richard Conte, and Diane Keaton.
The original script, with Tom Hagen, for this film written by Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola was very different from the final version seen in the film. In the original script, there was no Joey Zasa and no B.J Harrison. In the end, Mosca shoots Michael to his death. Michael dies in Tom's arms and Tom weeps over him bitterly.
Ehren Kruger (born October 5, 1972) is an American film screenwriter and producer. He is best known for writing three of the five installments in the original Transformers film series: Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, and Age of Extinction, in addition to the American version of The Ring and its sequel The Ring Two and the American adaptation of Ghost in the Shell.
Derogatory use of the term is portrayed the 1969 publication of Mario Puzo's The Godfather and the highly popular movie made from it, which contained dialogue such as "I don't care how many guinea Mafia goombahs come out of the woodwork” or, in the film, “I don’t care how many dago guinea wop greaseball goombahs come outta the woodwork”.
