Mark Aubrey Tennyson, 5th Baron Tennyson DSC (28 March 1920 – 3 July 2006) was a British peer. He was the second son of Lionel Tennyson, 3rd Baron Tennyson and Hon. Clare Tennant. The great-grandson of poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson, he succeeded his brother to the title in 1991. [1]

Mark Aubrey Tennyson was b. 28 March, 1920, a younger son of the 3rd Baron by his wife the Hon Clarissa Tennant (d. 1960), daughter of the 1st Baron Glenconner, and was educated at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.
