Marshall Orme Wilson Jr. (November 13, 1885 – February 13, 1966) [1] was an American diplomat and member of the Astor family. [2] Early life. Wilson was born in New York City on November 13, 1885, to Marshall Orme Wilson [3] and Caroline Schermerhorn "Carrie" Astor.
New India House. The Marshall Orme Wilson House is a mansion at 3 East 64th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. It is part of the Upper East Side Historic District, designated by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1981.
