Martin J. Gruenberg (born 1953) is an American attorney who serves as the two-time and current chairman, as well as three-time acting chairman, of the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
Martin J. Gruenberg was sworn in as Chairman of the FDIC Board of Directors on January 5, 2023. He has been a member of the FDIC Board since August 2005 and previously served as Vice Chairman from August 2005 to July 2011 and as Chairman from November 2012 to mid-2018.
