Every year we celebrate the 4th of July here in the states, where Americans turned to armed resistance in order to fight for their right to self determination, yet many of these same Americans don't understand why other groups might turn to armed resistance to accomplish the same aims?

This evening the Jacobins broke the bust of Mirabeau in their hall on the motion of Robespierre that this "execution" was carried out just as it was on his motion that the honors of the Pantheon were given to Mirabeau.
