The American edition LP ships domestically within the US. released September 30, 2016. Deniz on guitar and vocals, with Ric Parnell on drums and Bob Brown on bass.
2 de oct. de 2016 · ‘Mean Old Twister’ is the follow-up album to Tek’s 2013 meditation on loss and change, ‘Detroit’. The death of Deniz’s close friend, Stooges’ guitarist Ron Asheton, was one of the themes of that album, yet Ronnie’s presence is inescapable on its successor.
Deniz's latest solo album, the twelve track Mean Old Twister will be released by Citadel Records on September 30th 2016. This highly anticipated follow-on to 2013's acclaimed Detroit again features Deniz's vocals and signature guitar work.
29 de mar. de 2017 · This album, recorded in Montana and Hawaii as a trio with bassist Bob Brown and drummer Ric Parnell, features handful of special guests (Ron Sanchez, Parker Brown, Steve Brown, Joe Sheehan, Erik Olson and John Roberts), and was mixed at the legendary Alberts Studio in Sydney by Birdman colleague Rob Younger and Wayne Connolly.
