Mechthild von der Pfalz (* 7. März 1419 im Heidelberger Schloss; † 22. August 1482 daselbst) war die Mutter Eberhards im Bart und inspirierte ihn zur Gründung der Tübinger Universität. 1436 heiratete sie Graf Ludwig I. von Württemberg.
