  2. 10 de ago. de 2023 · Penned by Roach and vocalist Andy Bey, the song very much echoes the sentiments and feelings of the time. Beys mournful tone imbues the lyrics with expression and passion, but the track is in stark comparison with the rest of the music that is joyously uplifting.

  3. 14 de jul. de 2023 · Arc Records are overjoyed to reissue pioneering jazz drummer Max Roach’s legendary 1968 album Members Don’t Git Weary out 14th July. This album marks the second instalment of a new series of special reissues from the storied archives of the Atlantic Jazz archive and personally curated by DJ and Broadcaster Gilles Peterson.

  4. There is a vocal interlude, which Roach seems to like to do, with Andy Bey, on 'Members, Don't Git Weary', a wee bit gospel infused, but the rest is instrumental. This is worthy of multiple playings back to back to back.
