8 de mar. de 2021 · Mike Cameron was a power and speed threat in a 17 year career, recording five 20-20 seasons. A strong center fielder, he won Gold Gloves on three non-consecutive occasions. Originally property of the Chicago White Sox , who drafted him in 1991 , Mike roamed their outfield from 1995 to 1995 , establishing himself as a stolen base threat while failing to get much momentum going with the bat.
Mike Cameron played 17 seasons for 8 teams, including the Mariners and White Sox. He had a .249 batting average, 1,700 hits, 278 home runs, 968 RBIs and 1,064 runs scored.

Mike Cameron. Mike is a native of Tusla, OK and graduated from Texas State University in 1990. After graduating, Mike started his own Commerical Equipment business in Houston and eventually sold it and moved to San Antonio, TX. Over the past 20 years, Mike has enjoyed home brewing and home distilling as a personal hobby and passion.
Mike Cameron is the Deputy Headteacher at Tonyrefail Community School in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT), where, in collaboration with the Headteacher, opened RCT’s first English-medium All-through school in September 2018. He leads on Professional Learning and Development, Curriculum Design and line manages various teams across the 3-19 age phase.
