In 1975, Forever, Michael is the teenager’s fourth, final solo venture for Motown, as he and his brothers – save for Jermaine – head for the exit door and sign with Epic Records. Forever, Michael includes “One Day In Your Life,” a song destined to be No. 1 in the U.K.– more than six years later.
The Motown Years Review by Andy Kellman Looking at the cover, which shows Michael and none of his four brothers, one wouldn’t get the idea that this three-disc set is two-thirds Jackson 5 material. While Michael obviously features prominently in the Jackson 5 songs on The Motown Years, he gets one disc to himself.
