Bekannt wurde Lyonne durch ihre Rollen in den ersten beiden Teilen der Teenagerfilmreihe American Pie.Neben Jugendfilmen, zu denen auch Scary Movie 2 zählt, wurde sie von Woody Allen in Alle sagen: I love you, dem Episoden-Film Women Love Women und den Independent-Filmen Weil ich ein Mädchen bin und Hauptsache Beverly Hills besetzt.
Natasha Lyonne is an Emmy and Golden Globe nominated producer, actor, writer, and director. Lyonne co-created Netflix series "Russian Doll", which received three Emmy awards, a total of 13 Emmy nominations including Comedy Series and Lead Actress for Lyonne, a Gotham Award nomination, and a Golden Globe acting nomination for Lyonne after premiering in 2019.
