Nathan Greno (born March 22, 1975) is an American film director, story artist, and writer best known as one of the directors of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Tangled (2010). Inspired by Disney films since the first grade, Greno started as a young boy writing and drawing comic books and strips. [2]

Nathan Greno is an American former screenwriter, voice actor, animator, and director at Walt Disney Animation Studios. He served as a story artist for films, such as Brother Bear, Chicken Little, and Bolt and directed the 2010 animated feature film Tangled, alongside Byron Howard. In November 2018, Greno left Disney to work at Skydance Media.
Greno was born in Kenosha, WI on the southwestern shores of Lake Michigan. As a child, he developed a love for drawing, which quickly evolved into a passion for visual storytelling. Becoming a fan of Disney, he made sure to see all the classics, and, after graduating from Columbus College of Art and Design, he submitted a portfolio to the company in 1996. He began his career as a clean-up animation artist on Mulan before becoming a full-time storyboard artist.
