1 de oct. de 2006 · The first time that I saw this video I was 21 years old. That was in 1989. I seriously cried. This video of Anita Baker was the most truest of all her videos. Not only did I enjoy hearing her live--but truth be told--this girl can really sing! I must have watched it over and over again until I just couldn't watch it-- and then some.
Leben. Anita Baker begann ihre Sängerlaufbahn in einem Gospelchor im Alter von zwölf Jahren. Ihre Vorbilder damals waren Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan und Nancy Wilson, die ihren Gesangsstil auch heute noch deutlich hörbar beeinflussten. 1976 ersetzte sie Caroline Crawford in der Detroiter Band Chapter 8 und nahm mit ihr auch Schallplatten für Ariola auf.
