Niranjan Pal (17 August 1889 – 9 November 1959) was an Indian playwright, screenwriter, and director in the Indian film industry in the silent and early talkie days.
Niranjan Pal. Writer: Nasih Ni Balihart. Niranjan Pal was the son of Indian nationalist Bipin Chandra Pal. In his teens he was attracted to the young extremist movement in Calcutta, and in an altercation with a British officer, beat him up and stole his gun.

Niranjan Pal was the son of the moderate Indian nationalist Bepin Chandra Pal. He came to Britain in the early twentieth century to study in London, and lived in a boarding house with Sukhsagar Datta, Ashutosh Mitter and his father.
