The Finnish word for Danube is Tonava, which is most likely derived from the name of the river in German, Donau. Its Sámi name Deatnu means "Great River".

They are made in a variety of models. Davitt and Hanser imported some Odessa guitars to the USA as budget-line guitars. Some Odessa label image says imported by Dixon guitars USA.
