Oliver Goldsmith (Pallasmore, actual Irlanda, 1728 - Londres, 1774) Escritor irlandés. Hijo de un clérigo, Oliver Goldsmith se educó en Dublín y más tarde se trasladó a Edimburgo para estudiar medicina.
