Ferit Orhan Pamuk ( Estambul, 7 de junio de 1952) es un escritor turco y Premio Nobel de Literatura en 2006. Biografía. Nació en el seno de una familia acomodada (su padre era ingeniero ), residente en el occidentalizado barrio de Nişantaşı de Estambul, similar a los que describe en algunas de sus novelas.
