  7. Biography. Otto was born 11 May 1496, the second son of Philipp, Graf zu Solms-Lich and his wife Adriane von Hanau-Munzenberg. [1] . His elder brother Reinhard was to succeed in Lich, but Otto was to inherit Laubach, but died before his father on 14 May 1522. [1]
