All the tracks are compelling in some way but I have to admit the album is a bit too much to take in one sitting. "Closer To Your Heart", "Almost Seems (Too Late To Turn)", "In A Lifetime" (duet with Bono), "Something To Believe In" and "White Fool" (with Steve Perry) are worth picking out.

PastPresent, I believe is an excellent name for a milestone in the career of Clannad. This compilation of songs ranging from the album Magical Ring to the later Sirius, is a great way to get to know the beginning of Contemporary Irish Music.
