Thomas Patrick John Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield (25 April 1939 – 11 November 2005), was an English photographer from the Anson family. He inherited the Earldom of Lichfield in 1960 from his paternal grandfather. In his professional practice he was known as Patrick Lichfield.

Over time, several members of the family have risen to prominence, including Admiral of the Fleet George Anson, 1st Baron Anson, PC, FRS (1697–1762) and the society photographer Patrick Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield (1939–2005).

Patrick Lichfield. (1939-2005), Photographer. Thomas Patrick John Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield. Sitter in 30 portraits. Artist associated with 60 portraits. Educated at Harrow and Sandhurst, Lichfield served in the Grenadier Guards from 1959-1962 before becoming a professional photographer.
Following his father's death in 1960, Patrick Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield, decided to give Shugborough Hall up to the National Trust in lieu of death duties, an arrangement finalized in 1966. For his own burial, he chose the Anson vault at Colwich and was buried there in 2005.
