Patrick Galen Dempsey (born January 13, 1966) is an American actor and racing driver. He is best known for his role as neurosurgeon Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2015. He is also known for his leading man romantic films roles, including in Enchanted (2007).
Patrick Dempsey is well-known for his portrayal of Dr. Derek Shepherd on the hit ABC series, GREY'S ANATOMY. His performance earned him a 2007 Screen Actors Guild Award and was nominated in 2006 and 2007 for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama.

Biografía. Mide 1’79. Patrick Dempsey es un actor estadounidense, hijo de Amanda Lowell y William Dempsey. Destacó en su etapa escolar por diferentes habilidades artísticas y deportivas, ya que tanto lucía su talento como malabarista como participaba con éxito en competiciones de esquí.
