4 de dic. de 2023 · Imagine, if you will, a darker, more sinister and melancholy version of Genesis's Foxtrot album. One that shares that album's more esoteric themes, but also prominently sprinkles Robert Fripp and, lets say, Elton Dean of The Soft Machine, into the mix. That's the vibe that I took from Pawn Hearts.

And when Robert Fripp - who was (again) a guest on the album - has delivered a great guitar-solo and a Mellotron choir seemed to hint on celestial afterlife, we had to consider that we have listened to the genre's defining masterpiece.

30 de nov. de 2018 · Desde una perspectiva muy oscura, Van der Graaf Generator demostró ser una banda sumamente creativa, especialista en crear atmósferas de tensión que a mi parecer se igualan a las de King Crimson. Por supuesto, Robert Fripp (King Crimson) fue colaborador del grupo.
