Peter Paul Pugin (1851 – March 1904) was an English architect. He was the son of Augustus Pugin by his third wife, Jane Knill, and the half-brother of architect and designer Edward Welby Pugin. Life and career. Peter Paul Pugin was only a year old when his father died.

Practising as Pugin & Pugin, whether with Cuthbert, on his own for a while (1880-1884) or with Sebastian, Peter Paul "continued the national scale of the practice" (O'Donnell, The Pugins and the Catholic Midlands , 3), keeping the London and Liverpool offices going, but mainly operating in Scotland.

History. The firm was founded with the Westminster, London office of Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812–1852). Augustus Pugin was succeeded by his sons Cuthbert Welby Pugin (1840–1928) and Peter Paul Pugin (1851–1904) after the death of their elder brother, Edward Welby Pugin (1834–1875).
In this touching and perceptive memoir written late in his life, John Hardman Powell calls himself Pugin's pupil. He was in fact the only person who had the right to call himself that. Pugin never set up an office in the usual manner of busy mid-nineteenth-century architects.
