Philipp, Count of Solms-Lich (15 August 1468 - 3 October 1544, Frankfurt) was a German nobleman. He ruled as Count of Solms zu Lich. He was also a councilor at the courts of Maximilian I, Charles V and Frederick III, as well as a patron of art and architecture.

Harden criticised Philipp Count zu Eulenburg and his "camarilla" for the initiation of Wilhelm's policy and his "persönliches Regiment". Whether Eulenburg was responsible for the policy, especially in the last years before the Eulenburg Affair, is debatable.
Summary. The name of Philipp, Count zu Eulenburg, later Prince zu Eulenburg-Hertefeld (1847-1921) is associated so closely with the history of the Wilhelmine period that one could call him the Wilhelminian par excellence if that were not at best only a half-truth.
