The Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (German: Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg; SPSG) was founded by a treaty of 23 August 1994 between the German federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg as a public foundation following German reunification.

More than 30 palaces and gardens in Berlin and Brandenburg invite visitors to go on lively time travels back into the brilliant era of the Prussian kings and queens. Testimonies to the accomplished architecture and landscape gardening in Prussia, they have largely belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage since 1991.

Die Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten Berlin-Brandenburg (kurz: SPSG) ist eine Stiftung des öffentlichen Rechts mit Sitz in Potsdam. Sie wurde am 23. August 1994 durch einen Staatsvertrag zwischen den Ländern Berlin und Brandenburg gegründet. Ihre Aufgabe ist die Bewahrung und Pflege der Schlösser und Gärten des ehemaligen Landes Preußen.

7 de abr. de 2023 · With a special exhibition at Charlottenburg Palace, the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) is facing the colonial histories of its collections. Colonial practises and structures can be traced throughout earlier centuries, before German colonialism of the 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as afterwards.
It is the task of the Stiftung Preussische Schlösser und Gärten (Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation) Berlin-Brandenburg (SPSG) to maintain these works of art and make them accessible to the public in a variety of ways.
