Early life. Prince Heinrich XXXIII Reuss was the younger son of the Prince Heinrich VII Reuss of Köstritz and Princess Marie Alexandrine of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach. Through his mother, Prince Heinrich XXXIII was heir to the throne of the Kingdom of the Netherlands until the birth of the Crown Princess Juliana, daughter of Queen Wilhelmina.
Augusta de Reuss-Köstritz, princesse de Reuss-Köstritz puis, par son mariage, grande-duchesse de Mecklembourg-Schwerin, est née le 26 mai 1822 à Klipphausen, en Saxe, et décédée le 3 mars 1862 à Schwerin en Mecklembourg-Schwerin. Épouse du grand-duc Frédéric-François II de Mecklembourg-Schwerin, elle règne avec lui entre 1849 et 1862 .

Princess Augusta Reuss, Junior Line (Auguste Mathilde Wilhelmine Reuß; 26 May 1822 – 3 March 1862) was Grand Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin as the first spouse of Frederick Francis II, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
