Feodora. Prinses Anna Feodora Auguste Charlotte Wilhelmine van Leiningen ( Amorbach, 7 december 1807 — Baden-Baden, 23 september 1872) was de enige dochter van vorst Emich Karel van Leiningen ( 1763 - 1814) en prinses Victoria van Saksen-Coburg-Saalfeld ( 1786 - 1861 ), een oudere zuster van koning Leopold I van België .

Adelheid was born the second daughter of Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg by his wife Princess Feodora of Leiningen, who was the older, maternal half-sister of the British Queen Victoria. Consequently, Adelheid was Queen Victoria's half-niece. She was nicknamed "Ada" by her family.

Descent. A member of the Hardenburg branch of the House of Leiningen, Karl was born in Amorbach, the son of Prince Emich Carl of Leiningen (1763–1814) by his second marriage with Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (1786–1861). He was the only son, as Emich Carl's son by his first wife, Friedrich, had died in 1800.
The idea that George IV wanted to marry Feodora is not just an invention for the TVseries . I thought that there was early documentation that he very briefly showed some interest in her. I have read it in well researched books published in the last quarter of the 20th century.
