Prince Karl, the future 2nd Grand Duke of Baden (8 June 1786 in Karlsruhe – 8 December 1818 in Rastatt) Princess Wilhelmine Luise (10 September 1788 – 27 January 1836) married on 19 June 1804 her first cousin Grand Duke Ludwig II of Hesse. She was the mother of Princess Marie of Hesse and by Rhine, who married Tsar Alexander II of Russia.
