Ré Soupault (29 October 1901–12 March 1996) born known as Meta Erna Niemeyer, was a French-German artist, educated at the Bauhaus. She is known for a diversity of artistic works as a photographer, fashion designer, and also as translator.
Ré Soupault (* 29. Oktober 1901 als Meta Erna Niemeyer in Bublitz, Provinz Pommern; † 12. März 1996 in Versailles) war eine deutsch - französische Künstlerin. Ausgebildet am Bauhaus in Weimar gehörte sie zur europäischen Avantgarde des 20. Jahrhunderts zwischen Berlin und Paris.

Ré Soupault - MA-g. Poland (1901—1996) After training at Bauhaus under Itten, Kandinsky and Klee, Ré started her career as Eggeling’s assistant on his film Diagonal Symphony. From mid 1920s she worked as a fashion journalist in Berlin, and married Hans Richter. She set up a fashion design studio: May Ray photographed her collection.
