Rafael Rodríguez Padilla (Guatemala, 23 de enero de 1890- 24 de enero de 1929) fue un pintor y escultor guatemalteco. Se suicidó por motivos políticos antes de cumplir 39 años. Estudió en Guatemala en el taller de Justo de Gandarias y con el escultor venezolano Santiago González.

Phenom session percussionist Rafael Padílla, who performed on some of the LP's tracks, was now a permanent member. Chicago native Jim "Sport" Trompeter replaced Betty Wright (née Cortés) on second keyboards. Venezuelan jazz saxophonist Ed Callé performed on the LP and was added to the horn section.
