11 de ago. de 2008 · I have always loved Ultravox, and 1981's Rage in Eden is truly a classic New Wave album from the gifted British quartet comprised of lead singer/guitarist Midge Ure, keyboardist Billy Currie, bassist Chris Cross and drummer Warren Cann.

30 de sept. de 2022 · Originally released in October 1981, as with the bands previous two albums, Rage In Eden was produced by Conny Plank (Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!) at his studio in Cologne during the summer of that year. After ‘Vienna’ was an international hit single and the subsequent success of the album of the same name, the pressure was on for Ultravox to deliver a dynamic, popular follow up.
12 de oct. de 2022 · Nearly two years later, the 5CD/DVD deluxe reissue of Rage In Eden (1981) has finally arrived. Once again produced by German engineering wizard Konrad “Conny” Plank, Rage was Ultravox’s fifth studio album and the second to feature Midge Ure’s vocals. Though Vienna remains my favorite Ultravox album, Rage is a close second.
Wznowienie "Rage in Eden" 2022r. jest kontynuacją boxu Vienna z 2020r. i stylistycznie nawiązuje do serii. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje 4 i 5 cd koncertowe, jest szybko, rytmicznie z masą dominującej elektroniki. Widać że zespół z nowym materiałem muzycznym jeszcze eksperymentuje.

1 de jul. de 2022 · Originally released in October 1981 and like the bands previous two albums, Rage In Eden was produced by Conny Plank (Kraftwerk, Can, Neu!), this time recorded at Conny's studio in Cologne over a 3-month period during the summer of '81. The album features hit singles 'The Thin Wall' and 'The Voice'. The album reached number 4 in the UK charts.
