19 de abr. de 2024 · My favorites are almost all here, including Albert Ayler! One that I have overlooked but am now catching up on is Red Norvo and his vibes-led trio efforts beginning around 1950. Worth considering both for quality of music and the unique instrumentation. Reply

That same section, that same four guys, had played with Red Norvo. I’ve still got the albums today and I would listen to them to crank myself with jazz and things.
