30 de abr. de 2021 · Introduction. Reginald Pole was born in March 1500, the fourth child of Sir Richard Pole and Margaret Pole, niece of King Edward IV and later countess of Salisbury. In 1511, Pole matriculated at Magdalen College, Oxford, graduating as Bachelor of Arts in 1515. In April 1521, he was sent by Henry VIII to study at the University of Padua.
