Richard III was married to the Earl of Warwick’s daughter Anne, so it was in his interest to keep Richard on the throne. His grandson then becomes king. After the death of Edward of Middleham, it’s in Warwick’s interest the throne goes to Clarence’s son, Edward. Or if George is still alive, to keep George on the throne.
