Rigolboche is a 1936 French historical musical film directed by Christian-Jaque and starring Mistinguett, André Lefaur and Jules Berry. It portrays a fictionalized version of the life of Rigolboche, the dancer who made the Can-can famous. It was shot at the Billancourt Studios in Paris.

Rigolboche: Directed by Christian-Jaque. With Mistinguett, André Lefaur, Georges Tourreil, Robert Pizani. Lina Bourget, a realist singer, is forced to leave Dakar because of a murder she believes she has committed. Taking refuge in Paris, she unexpectedly becomes a star in the capital.

Film Synopsis. I n Dakar, the singer Lina Bourget manages a seedy nightclub. One of her clients, Lucien Mirvaux, tries to extort money from her. During a boat trip, Lina pushes Mirvaux into the river and, thinking he has drowned, she hastily leaves town without notifying her lover Frédo.
