Riverdale Country School is a co-educational, independent, college-preparatory day school in New York City serving pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. It is located on two campuses covering more than 27.5 acres (111,000 m 2 ) in the Riverdale section of the Bronx , New York , United States.

The School’s athletic facilities include three full-size playing fields, tennis courts, a 9,600-square-foot gymnasium, a second training gymnasium, a fitness center, a fencing room, and a dedicated aquatic center featuring a six-lane USA Swimming-certified indoor pool.
A SupportiveCommunity. Riverdale is sometimes described as high-challenge, high-support. A balanced diet improves cognition; nutritious (and delicious) food is served on both campuses. Sleep is important; the faculty manages homework so that students can participate in an array of activities without undue stress.
